The year 2009 was characterized by average temperatures and rainfall. The water reserves of the soil could therefore be optimally replenished.
Thanks to the rather hot and dry summer, the chance of developing fungal diseases was so low that the number of sprayings could be significantly reduced. From the middle of August, great fluctuations between day and night temperatures began; a fact that was extremely helpful for the perfect ripening of the grapes. The grapes reached a perfect physiological ripeness, a good acid structure and great aromatic complexity.
