Brancaia Collection<\/h1>\n

The Brancaia Collection is a limited edition with 6 different label designs that combines pleasure with art.<\/p>\n

“Brancaia Collection” is an annual artistic challenge that is passed on to an artist from a different country.<\/p>\n

The task is to design six different Brancaia labels as a series, with the only requirement being that the square layout of the iconic logo remains.<\/p>\n

For the latest edition, Tuscan sculptor Viola Granucci<\/strong> has reinterpreted her artistic language in the labels of the TRE wine.<\/p>\n

The background to the project<\/h2>\n

The Brancaia Collection was first conceived as a gift idea on the occasion of Brigitte and Bruno Widmer’s 80th birthday in 2021.<\/p>\n

As founders of the winery, they are also responsible for the creation of the iconic logo, which was designed by Bruno Widmer’s advertising agency in 1988.<\/p>\n

The idea of the collection therefore came about as a tribute to their legacy.<\/p>\n

The Brancaia Collection turns our label into a canvas and platform for an artist. An art exhibition of its own kind, so to speak.<\/p>\n

When it came to deciding which of our wines to choose for the artist labels, we immediately agreed that TRE was the ideal wine. It is an all-rounder, showing the versatility which has become indispensable in today’s wine world.<\/p>\n

We firmly believe that art and great wine should be accessible to everyone. There is hardly anything better than being able to enjoy each expression of art in everyday life.<\/p>\n

Jeanette Innala, Sweden<\/h3>\n

The 2024 Collection was designed for Brancaia by the Swedish artist and painter Jeanette Innala. Her labels push the boundaries between different media and techniques, inviting the viewer to embark on an inner journey beyond the tangible world.<\/p>\n

Yeji Jun, South Korea <\/h3>\n

Yeji Jun was born in South Korea. The artist currently lives and works in New York City and Seoul. She has exhibited her art internationally. Yeji Jun’s work is an exploration of self. Her art reveals the artist\u2018s daily thoughts and delve into her imagination to reveal her personal state of mind.<\/p>\n

Sergiy Maidukov, Ukraine<\/h3>\n

Sergiy Maidukov, 42, was born and grew up in Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, where he studied economics. Moving to Kiev in 2007 gave him the opportunity to deepen his studies in classical drawing while working as a designer.
His family fled the city after the Russian invasion began, but he decided to stay. “Firstly, because I love Kiev, and secondly, because I want to help<\/em>,” says the illustrator. “I would give anything to live in a free and democratic Ukraine<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

Niels Blaesi, Switzerland<\/h3>\n

Niels Blaesi is a freelance illustrator and designer from Switzerland. Basic geometric shapes and strong color compositions characterize his clear, minimalist style. His interest in repetition, rhythm and composition influences his visual language.<\/p>\n
