Brancaia Collection 2024

The project that combines art and enjoyment in collaboration with the Swedish artist Jeanette Innala.

Label Brancaia Collection

The Brancaia Collection 2024 was designed by the Swedish artist Jeanette Innala, who was given the same task as the previous artists: to create a series of six different Brancaia labels, with the sole condition that the two squares of the Brancaia label must be retained.

Brigitte and Bruno Widmer
Label Brancaia Collection

Inspired by the Brancaia wine and its beautiful, lush region, she created colorful labels letting green, blue, and earthy notes play with flowery colors, like pink, orange, yellow and red, creating a bouquet of color. Jeanette has developed a highly personal approach to color and the process of creating that seamlessly blend layers of color and light making the visuals form an ethereal and translucent quality. By challenging the boundaries between multiple mediums and techniques, she invites the viewer to an inner journey beyond the tangible world.

More about the art behind the labels.

Southern Sea

The dark blue, brown, and black label in the Brancaia Art Collection 2024 Jeanette draws its inspiration from the symbiotic relationship between the vines and the soil, which is essential to crafting the distinctive aromas of the region’s wines.

The deep blue represents the rich, ripe grapes, bursting with flavor as they absorb the essence of the vineyard. Earthy brown tones symbolize the soil itself, the foundation that nurtures the vines and allows the wines to develop their unique character.

Black evokes the aged oak barrels, cement, and steel tanks where the wine matures, each playing a crucial role in shaping its depth and complexity. This label captures the raw beauty of the winemaking process, honoring the elements of nature and craftsmanship that make Brancaia’s wines truly exceptional.

Los Angeles

The brown and green label of the Brancaia Art Collection 2024 is a tribute to the iconic golden brick house of the Brancaia vineyard, nestled in the heart of the Tuscan landscape. The rich brown hues reflect the texture and warmth of the Old Tuscany paver bricks, which offer a striking variation of colors—from orange to rose, red, and even hints of purple—capturing the timeless beauty of the estate. These earthy tones evoke the aged wooden barrels that play a vital role in the winemaking process. These earthy tones evoke the aged wooden barrels that play a vital role in the winemaking process.

The lush green accents draw inspiration from the vibrant greenery surrounding the vineyard, representing the thriving vines that give life to Brancaia’s exceptional wines. With this label Jeanette wanted to intertwine the natural textures and colors of the vineyard, celebrating the harmony between the land, the architecture, and the craft of winemaking.

The Rainbowclouds

The “Rainbow Clouds” piece from the Brancaia Art Collection 2024 is a vivid celebration of fall, inspired by the shifting colors of the vineyard as it prepares for harvest. The artwork features a dynamic blend of oranges, browns, blues, auburns, and purples, mirroring the changing landscape. The rich orange and auburn tones reflect the golden hues of the vine’s yellowing leaves, while the dry grass and earth are captured in soft browns.

Hints of blue and purple evoke the crisp autumn skies and the deepening shadows of the season, while the glowing oranges echo the warmth of the setting sun over the vineyard. In ”Rainbow Clouds” Jeanette Innala captures the essence of nature’s transformation during harvest time, a time of vibrant beauty and renewal.

Bold reds reflect the striking beauty of poppies scattered across the landscape, while deep greens capture the richness of the vines at their healthiest.

Agean

Inspired by the life-giving force of water, the artwork “Aegean” from the Brancaia Art Collection 2024 beautifully fuses the essence of the ocean with the lush greenery of the vineyard. The deep blues and soft turquoise hues evoke the tranquil and powerful presence of the sea, reminding us of water’s essential role in nourishing the vines and sustaining the vibrant landscape.

“Aegean” blends flowing, aquatic tones with hints of green, reflecting the harmonious relationship between the ocean and the earth. In this piece Jeanette wanted to capture the fluid movement of water and its connection to the natural world, creating a serene yet dynamic visual representation of the balance between sea, sky, and vineyard.
